Development Bank backs Okpekpe race
Financial institution, Development Bank of Nigeria, has renewed its partnership with the Okpekpe 10km road race.
The bank first came on board the Okpekpe train last year and according to Zack Amodu, the race’s Director of Organisation, DBN has renewed its commitment to this year’s race as well.
He said, “We are delighted to announce that DBN, a leading financial institution in Nigeria, has decided to renew its commitment with us as a big friend of the first road race in Nigeria to be granted a labeled status.
“Our partnership with DBN, Nigeria’s primary development finance institution promoting growth and sustainability, is unique because like the Okpekpe race, the bank is also making giant leaps in its area of business.
‘Like it was last year, we believe DBN’s support will motivate us to organize a road race worthy of a gold label race on May 25 in Okpekpe, near Auchi, Edo State.”
The Okpekpe International 10km road race is organized by Pamodzi Sports Marketing, a sports marketing, sponsorship, hospitality, and rights acquisition firm in Nigeria.
